
Dr Liza Tilia graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a PhD from the University of NSW, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s award for her thesis “Is There a Link Between Oocyte Meiotic Spindle Normality and Embryo Euploidy?”
Dr Tilia is a clinical embryologist and is experienced in many of the techniques used in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technologies. She developed the PGT program at IVF Australia and supervised the program for 13 years. Dr Tilia is currently a senior embryologist at the Fertility and Research Centre, Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick and a conjoint senior lecturer at the UNSW.
