The Organising Committee is excited by the program we are putting together for the Fertility Society of Australia’s Annual Scientific Meeting being held from 29 August to 2 September 2020.
On the Saturday the Professional Groups are pulling together their usual excellent workshops.
On Sunday the Merck Symposium will focus on miscarriage with local and international experts in the field.
The main meeting, “View from the Bridge”, will navigate many of the current issues using the Past, Present and possible visions of the Future. We will be initiating new formats to promote collegiality across our membership including an innovative “global teleworkshop” drawing experts in from around the world by the IT opportunities we now have. In addition, themed sessions will focus on multidisciplinary topics such as gamete donation which along with debates on controversial issues will provide an exciting programme
Ferring and Vitrolife are planning excellent sessions for the early risers bringing international experts to our meeting.
The Conference dinner, as always, will be a highlight.
Our band leader has offered the opportunity to have a segment called “FSA’s Got Talent”. Entries will be called for well in advance and a vetting committee will select the best three audition tapes submitted. Should be great fun!
With our theme of “Past, Present and Future”, we are planning a blast from the past – The President’s Debate – in the final session. The topic will be “The Future will be better than the Past”. Debaters will include many well known faces but the committee welcomes volunteers for either side!
We all know Sydney is a great place for a conference. We look forward to seeing you and help make this the best FSA conference yet.
