The Organising committee is excited by the program that we have put together for our postponed FSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting which has again been rescheduled and will now be held from 30 July to 2 August 2022.
COVID may have put us in hibernation but the big bear will be out and roaring this year!
On the Saturday the Professional Groups are pulling together their usual excellent workshops.
The main meeting, “The View from The Bridge” will navigate many of the current issues using the Past, Present and possible visions of the Future. We will be introducing new formats to promote collegiality across our membership including an innovative global tele-workshop drawing experts in from around the world with the IT opportunities we now have. In addition themed sessions will focus on multidisciplinary topics such as gamete donation and debates on controversial issues will provide an exciting program.
The Conference dinner, as always, will be a highlight.
Our band leader has offered the opportunity to have a segment called “FSANZ’s GOT TALENT”. Entries will be called for well in advance and a vetting committee will select the best three audition tapes submitted. Should be great fun.
With our theme of Past, Present and Future, we are planning a blast from the past – The President’s Debate during the final session. The topic will be that “the Future will be better than the Past”. Debaters will include many well known faces but the committee welcomes volunteers for either side!
Whilst the delays are frustrating we all know Sydney is a great place for a conference. We look forward to seeing you and help make this the best FSANZ meeting yet.
