We are pleased to advise that the following keynote speakers have agreed to present.
John Collins
John Collins is an obstetrician gynecologist and reproductive medicine specialist who worked in London, Halifax and Hamilton, Canada. He is Editor-in-Chief of Human Reproduction Update, a member of The ESHRE Capri Workshop Group, a consultant member of the Practice Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and a member of the Royal Belgian Academy of Medicine. He has been a member of the Editorial Boards of the New England Journal of Medicine, Fertility Sterility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a former President of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada, the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society and the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His research involves more than 160 papers on the effectiveness, safety and cost of interventions for reproductive health disorders and the long term cardiovascular and cancer outcomes associated with use of oral contraception and hormone replacement.
Jonathan Van Blerkom
Jonathan Van Blerkom is Professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado in Boulder and Laboratory Director at Colorado Reproductive Endocrinology at the Rose Hospital in Denver. He has been engaged in investigations of molecular and cellular aspects of mammalian development for over 30 years, the past 21 of which have included studies of human follicles, oocytes and embryos. Professor Van Blerkom has published over 100 original articles and reviews, co-authored or edited six books, and has been an invited speaker at numerous international conferences and symposia.
Andrew Van Steirteghem
Emeritus Professor at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, University Hospital, Vrije Universiteit, Brussels. A pioneer in assisted conception, he achieved world fame for the development of his ICSI technique, and is former Chairman of ESHRE. Prof Van Steirteghem has had a long association with, and is the current Editor of, Human Reproduction.
