Welcome FSA 2008
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS NOW OPEN!!!!
UPDATED 1 JULY 2008!!
The organising committee for the FSA 2008 Brisbane has released the first draft program for FSA 2008 Brisbane, please visit the Program page of this website for further details. We hope you will find the program interesting and will provide the stimulus for further discussion with your colleagues locally, nationally and internationally.
The conference theme, “Working Together For Reproductive Health” guided the development of the sessions, though we retained some of the discipline based sessions. This theme was chosen to highlight potential benefits for our patients if we all recognize our respective skill sets and organise ourselves around a common theme. The overall aim of the program is to provide sessions that stimulate further discussions with your colleagues in the many IVF Units in Australia and New Zealand.

The Ian Johnston Memorial Lecture will set the scene for the meeting by recognizing that a live birth is the goal for all infertile couples, and a well coordinated team can improve the experience, reduce waiting lists, improve the process of care and reduce costs.
John Collins, Andre Van Steirteghem, Bart Fauser and Jonathan Van Blerkom have provisionally accepted an invitation to contribute plenary sessions and participate in other aspects of the meeting. The Program page also highlights the many local experts that have agreed to deliver presentations designed to further engage you in critical reflection on the future of reproductive medicine.
We hope you will also consider adding your own expertise and experience by submitting an abstract. This year we have updated the presentation options available. Please visit the Call for Papers page on this website for further details . The presentation options have been chosen by the Organising Committee to maximise the chance that your work will be shared by as many conference attendees as is possible. Please also encourage your colleagues to contribute.
We hope you will join us for what promises to be a very informative scientific program and enjoy the many varied and exciting activities Brisbane has to offer. There are bike ways close to the conference venue to ensure you remain healthy. You may even consider adding a few days rest at the Gold or Sunshine Coast.
This is your conference.
